SHIPPING & RETURN POLICY
All wine is sold in California, and title passes to the buyer in California. We make no representation relative to your right to import wines into your state or county. The customer, by placing an order, warrants to us that he/she is aware of and in compliance with the laws governing said shipment into his/her area. All orders shipped outside of CA are not subject to CA state sales tax. ALL CALIFORNIA ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO SALES TAX-NO EXCEPTIONS! If Bestwinesonline.com, LLC failed to add sales taxes when the order was placed, Bestwinesonline.com, LLC reserves the right to correct and collect any sales taxes due.

Customer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. Unless you instruct us otherwise, you agree that we shall arrange, on your behalf and responsibility, shipment with a common carrier to make the delivery. We reserve the right to determine the propriety of shipping instructions and may refuse to ship if we deem it inappropriate or unsafe. If shipment is returned for any reason other than Bestwinesonline.com LLC's error, the customer must pay any additional shipping required.

Unless SPECIFICALLY DECLINED, all orders over $500 will have insurance charges added. The charge is $.50 per $100 and covers breakage or loss. WEATHER DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED BY THIS INSURANCE! Bestwinesonline.com, LLC will cover the insurance for the first $500, after that it’s on you.

All completed orders will be shipped as soon as reasonably possible (i.e., if it is too hot to ship we will wait until better weather conditions arise) using the Air or Ground option you selected. Bestwinesonline.com, LLC cannot be responsible if you change your mind after ordering or choose a shipping option in error. An order with both "futures/prearrivals" and in-stock items will have the in-stock items shipped immediately. We do our best to process all orders recieved by 3pm (PST) on that same day. Sometimes unforseen circumstances may put your order off until the next business day so for this reason we encourage you to utilize the comment box on your order with any special shipping instructions or requests.

All solid case orders of Bordeaux will be packed from their own wooden case .

You will be notified via e-mail when outstanding prearrival/special orders arrive. At that time you will have the option to set a shipping date or have us hold that particular wine until a later date.  All prearrival/special orders are stored following the same policies as in-stock items, six months storage free of charge after arrival followed by a charge of $2.00 per month, per 12 bottle case (or portion thereof) until the wine has been shipped.

Be warned, sparkling wine bottles are heavier, thus you may see slight variances in your final shipping charges when shipping these types of wines.

We ship Ground: Monday - Thursday,  Three Day Air: Monday and Tuesday, Second Day Air: Monday - Wednesday and Next Day Air: Monday - Thursday unless you specifically request otherwise (please contact us for alternative shipping options).

Bestwinesonline.com, LLC assumes no liability for wine damaged due to poor weather during transport. This includes leakage, freezing, and/or corks pushing. So, be sure of shipping conditions before placing your order.

If your neck of the woods is too hot or too cold, Bestwinesonline.com, LLC will store your in-stock purchases for future shipment.  The first six months are free, as we figure that should get you into some cooler (or warmer) pastures.  After six months Bestwinesonline.com LLC will bill for additional storage time at the rate of $2.00 per 12 bottle case per month until said product is shipped.  A 10% restocking/cancellation fee will apply, at our discretion, for any alterations to "hold" orders. If "hold" wines are damaged due to an Act of God, Bestwinesonline.com LLC cannot be held responsible. Please allow us at least 48 hours prior notice before you would like your product shipped.
 
Return Policy
Refunds given only for product shipped in error or damaged in shipment. Any returns will be issued merchandise credit only.
All in-stock wines typically delivered via FEDEX, UPS, or GSO within 1-5 business days based on geographic location.
